I have been drinking the yerba mate tea in the bags for the last 15 years and recently tried the loose tea. The flavour is actually better. I’ve tried other yerba mate tea and they don’t come close in taste to the Wild Harvest

Lesley Y.Wild Harvest Tea

Great way to start the day, smoother buzz than coffee. I also like to combine with Red Bush blend for Ginger Honey Iced Tea.

Aisha P.Ginger Peach Yerba Mate

Just ordered the fine cut to try in my French press. I was a little skeptical at first but found the fine cut to be exceptional in both flavor ad ease of steeping.  Will continue to order for my morning tea.

French Press

Yes, a French Press is fantastic for brewing your yerba, mate. Our standard is an 8 cup French Press. Keep in mind an 8 cup French Press holds a little less than one liter or 33 ounces.

  1. Remove the lid of the French press and remove the round filter and shaft.
  2. Scoop out three tablespoons of yerba mate and place in the bottom of the French Press.
  3. Pour your preheated water (180°F or 82°C) into the French Press. Pour enough water into the French Press until the level is about one inch from the pour spout.
  4. Place the bottom of the French Press screen and plunger rod and lid on top of the yerba mate floating on the water, without depressing the plunger rod and filter.
  5. Depress the plunger rod 1” where the filter is holding the yerba mate just under the water.
  6. Allow steeping for 3 minutes. After three minutes, push the plunger rod and filter to the bottom.

Pour your freshly brewed yerba mate into your cup of choice and enjoy.
